Veegeekay has designed and developed Induction Heating Equipment to facilitate shrink fit assembly of bearings, pinions and other types of components with interference fit on the shaft. This is an improved version over conventional methods like oil bath, hammering etc. Veegeekay Induction heating Equipment is designed for efficiency, reliability, durability quick response and less power consumption, Veegeekay is in this line from past 3 decades.

Description

Veegeekay Induction heater is made of superior non-magnetic Fiber glass body with steel control panels. The magnetic conductors, are of fiber glass insulated with stainless steel covered for longer life. The equipment is mounted on wheels for easy movement.

Veegeekay Induction Heater is built with shock proof and thermally isolated body for safety purpose. The Induction effects only the work piece. The heater and the magnetic conductor remains cold throughout the cycle. This avoids any type of heat shock to the operator.

Demagnetising :

Induction heated components will have residual magnetism after the heating cycle. Veegeekay's Induction heater has auto­matic demagnetizing cycle following the heating cycle which brings down the magnetism less than 2A/cm, which is accept­able by international bearing manufacturers. Optionally V.G.K. Equipment can also be used only to demagnetize.

Versatile :

The Induction heater not only handles bearings, but can also be used for safe and rapid heating of other metal components such as shrink fit of labyrinth rings, bushings, pulleys, gears. Automobile pistons, Conrods, pole wheel and couplings and other components with cylindrical symmetry. The Veegeekay Induction heating equipment can be used for various sizes of components by replacing magnetic conductor of different sizes which are normally supplied as per customers requirement. A limit switch is provided to avoid open circuit current in the absence of magnetic conductor which otherwise damages the induction coil due to heavy in-rush of current.

Veegeekay also offers induction heating equipments with Automatic movement of magnetic conductor by pneumatic com­ponents (This is used in Mass production of components in Motor industries, Automobile industries (Where similar /Same components are heated continuously for the whole shift and where there is no change of Magnetic conductors)

All the above models are supplied with Digital temperature controller and Digital timer and Demagnetizing Device unit. The temperature controller is supplied along with clamping type temperature sensor to sense and control the component temperature.

Our Standard Models are :

VGK SH-I 6.6 KVA, VGK SH mini 3.3 KVA, all other models are custom built.

Timer Mode :

In this mode the temperature is controlled indirectly by setting the required time on a 3 digit digital timer fixed on control panel. The timer starts counting up once the push to start switch is pressed and trips off the heating circuit as the timer reaches the set value on the timer. In this mode the temperature of the component cannot be maintained at required temperature and an audio alarm is provided to indicate the elapsed time. (in this mode the component has to be used immediately after the audio alarm comes on).

Temp Mode

In this mode the temperature is controlled by the set value on the panel by a three digit digital indicating type temperature controller. Temperature is sensed by a clip-on type sensor. The set value is programmable on the panel. The audio visible alarm is provided to indicate the attainment of set temperature.

Automation VGK Induction heaters also be automated for the movement of Magnetic conductors upwards and VGK CH-II Pneumatic.
